Triglycerides test

Procedure:

1. Put 1 ml of triglycerides reagent in each of two test tubes.                                          
2. Put 10 µ of standard in the first test tube and mark it as standard tube.
3. Put 10 µ of serum or plasma in the other tube and mark it as test tube.
4. Leave them in room temp. for 10 min. or in water bath for 5 minutes.

Measure at wave length 505 nm.

Calculation:

[reading of test / reading of standard] x 200 = ....... mg / dl

Normal values:

Male 60 -165 mg / dl
Female 40-140 mg / dl
