Hemosiderin cast containing hemosiderin granules in the cast matrix and from the urinary sediment of a patient with hemoglobinuria after replacement of the mitral valve. There are free hemosiderin granules in the background. The granules are yellowish brown. (Hemosiderin granules are found also in paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.) Unstained, X400.
