Cells with inclusions in the nucleus from the urinary sediment of a patient after kidney transplantation. These are renal tubular epithelial cells infected with polyomavirus. Unstained, X400.




Cells from the urinary sediment of the preceding patient, but with a supervital stain. The nuclei resemble ground glass. Sternheimer stain, X400.
