Type 2 Diabetic Symptoms – Do You Have Adult Onset Diabetes?

If you suspect that you might have developed adult onset diabetes, and then you might be, wondering which diabetic symptoms that a Type 2 sufferer would have.

diabetic symptoms can confirm or deny your fears.  However, while the symptoms of diabetes can tell you a lot, they’re not a definitive diagnostic tool, so you should always have yourself tested, even if you’re displaying all the
Now that that’s out of the way, let’s look at what those signs of diabetes are, so you can start the process:
  • You’re unusually thirsty.  Thirst, in spite of drinking enough fluids, is one of the most common diabetic signs out there.
  • Because of your thirst (or even if you’re not thirsty) another of the common diabetic symptoms is frequent urination.  If you find yourself heading to the toilet way more frequently than usual, it may be one of the diabetic symptoms that you should look for.
  • Being hungrier than usual, and unexplained weight loss, are both diabetic symptoms that you should look out for.
  • Two more Type 2 diabetic symptoms are fatigue, and crankiness. If you’re getting enough sleep, but you still feel tired and irritable, then you might want to get tested for diabetes.
  • Some people find that they also experience very slow healing as one of their Type 2 diabetic symptoms. If you’ve noticed cuts or bruises that take much longer than usual to heal, then it may be a sign of diabetes.
  • Frequent vaginal or oral yeast infections can be another one of the tell tale diabetic symptoms that warn that you might need to get tested.
  • Bladder infections or infections of the skin or gums might also be among your Type 2 diabetic symptom warnings.
  • Finally, if you find that you experience numbness or tingling in your limbs, or you have blurred vision, then you might also be experiencing Type 2 diabetes symptoms.
Many people don’t realise that they even have diabetes, until they experience Type 2 diabetic symptoms, worry, and visit the doctor. The disease is then diagnosed by doing a blood sugar test.
The good news is that if you are diagnosed with this type of diabetes, whether it’s because of diabetic symptoms, or anything else, it’s entirely manageable and treatable.
However, because diabetes can lead to other, more serious conditions, including heart problems, problems with your circulatory system, kidney trouble and more, you need to make sure that you react when you experience anything that might be diabetic symptoms.
Are They Diabetic Symptoms?
The only real way to tell whether what you are experiencing diabetic symptoms, or something else, is to have a test done. Many of the symptoms associated with Type 2 diabetes are common in other diseases and disorders too, and you can never assume anything.
Therefore, if you are experiencing what you think may be Type 2 diabetic symptoms, visit a clinic, doctor, or pharmacy, to get your blood tested.
